ERDENE BATBAYAR — SOFTWARE ENGINEER · VIRGINIA, USA

Erdene Batbayar — fullstack software engineer and digital fabricator in Virginia. NICE TO MEET YOU. I BUILD SOLUTIONS USERS LOVE.

I'm Erdene Batbayar, a fullstack software engineer based in Virginia — React, Next.js and Three.js on screen; 3D printers, CNC and custom hardware in the shop. Passionate about crafting products people actually enjoy.

01 OPERATOR

Half of my work ships to a browser. The other half comes off a print bed.

I'm Erdene — a software engineer who never stopped building physical things. By day I design and ship web experiences: real-time 3D, animation-heavy interfaces, products people actually enjoy using.

By night the garage hums: FDM printers laying down functional parts, a CNC router carving fixtures and signage, custom hardware on the bench. Same loop every time — design, program, fabricate, iterate. CAD or code, it's all toolpaths. And when the spindle stops, there's a paddle within reach.

PROCESS — SAME LOOP, ANY MATERIAL

P-01

DESIGN

Every build starts as geometry. Figma frames or Fusion 360 sketches — constraints first, decoration last. If it doesn't work as a wireframe, it won't work in PLA either.

FIGMA · FUSION 360 · PEN & PAPER

PROGRAM

Code is a toolpath for the browser; G-code is a program for steel and steppers. I write both. TypeScript, shaders, slicers, CAM — instructions a machine can't misread.

TYPESCRIPT · GLSL/WGSL · G-CODE · CAM
P-03

FABRICATE

Hit run. Deploy pipelines push to the edge; printers and the router push through material. Watching a first layer go down clean and a CI run go green feel exactly the same.

CI/CD · FDM · CNC ROUTER
P-04

ITERATE

Measure, sand, refactor, reprint. Tolerances matter — in kerning and in millimeters. Version two always exists; version one is just how you find out why.

05 OFF THE BENCH — TABLE TENNIS

Precision isn't just for machines. I compete with a paddle too.

A 40 mm ball, 2.7 grams, brushing the net with sidespin — table tennis is tolerance work at human speed. Reading spin is debugging. Footwork is process planning. Match point is a deploy on a Friday.

It's also where the polymath loop closes: the same CNC router that cuts my fixtures has cut me a blade.
